The registration process is as easy as ABC, by simply pressing the “Free Trial” button, you will be taken to the registration page where, after filling out some basic information, you will begin your journey.

  • Upon logging on to FastAccounts for the first time, you will need to adjust a few settings to ensure that FastAccounts is optimised for your business needs. e.g. business information: business name, VAT or GST number, logo, etc.
  • Smart Settings: Enable Projects, Set all customers as suppliers, Additional charges or deductions in sales invoices, Smart filters for invoices, Bills and bank payments or receipts, Sales invoices, and quotations notes, manage all your first-time setup requirements in the smart settings.
  • Tax and Year End: A complete control of taxes and year-end.
  • Admin can protect the data with the lock date feature, simply set a fixed lock date or floating day which means no alteration to the data before the lock date.

User and Role Management

FastAccounts allows you to manage your users and assign them roles with respective clearances for certain modules.

  • Restrict via static IP Address – restrict user access by static IP address, for example only allow them to access FastAccounts when their device registers under the office IP address.
  • A user can be restricted to accessing only specific banks, locations, and/or projects.
  • The advanced user rights module is the next step up and is a unique feature. It allows the admin to choose which customer(s) or supplier(s) should be available to the user.
  • A user-friendly interface that’s easy to learn, with multiple options to use.

Chart of Accounts, Journals and other settings

Define your own chart of accounts or use a default COA.  You can also set other features according to your need such as lock date etc.

  • View a table of your nominal accounts using the “Chart of Accounts” link in the settings menu. Pressing on the link will open up the chart of accounts table where you can view all your nominal accounts.
  • Users can post journals, define their email templates, or manage their locations, all within the settings menu.
  • The admin can define the lock date, via the calendar found in the lock date settings, to lock the account from a certain date or to specify the number of unlock days.
