Business Analysis & Reports
Get the full picture with over 200 reports and several business analysis instruments with integration into the dashboard for quick visual updates. Our many reports are all designed to be tailored to the data set you desire, ensuring you have the information you want available when you want it.
The Dashboard
You can view a handful of analysis instruments upon loading up FastAccounts. You will find information about your business in an at-a-glance format in the dashboard. To keep the data quick and easy to understand, we have ensured that the data displayed is kept simple, and to assist visualisation we added graphical interpretations of the data too. The following data is available in the dashboard:
- Customer Balances – View the total unpaid balance and information regarding sales receipts from the last 30 days.
- Products – View the number of products that fall into the following categories:
- Low Stock
- Out of Stock
- Oversold
- In Stock
- Banks – View the balances of your bank accounts and your cash on hand.
- Sales – View a graph of your sales against the date, enabling you to visualise sales trends.
- Expenses – View a pie chart of your expenses, allowing you to see a visual breakdown of your business expenditure.
- Profit and Loss – View your net profit, total income, and total expenses with ease.
You also have the option to specify a certain range of data for your sales, expenses, and profit and loss instruments in the dashboard using the drop-down arrows found next to the name of the instrument.
Reports
Make use of FastAccounts’ reporting module to improve the management of your business and to ensure that your business is implementing efficient and effective controls. The reports found in this module cover all areas of your business and give you a complete picture of what your business’s current situation is, from this information you can make informed decisions and better manage your business.
Each report can be generated by filling out the Report Criteria and then selecting from any fields you may want and then pressing the “Run Report” button.
You will also find that with each report you can select what data is shown, in which order it is displayed, and you can format it. All of this can be done by pressing the “Report Settings” button in the top right of the form.
For reports you wish to access more frequently, you can add them to your favourites by pressing the star icon to the right of the report name.
Analytical Reports
Unlock greater insights into your business by using FastAccounts’ analytical reports. Find a series of analytical reports for the following areas of your business:
- Sales and Recovery
- Sales Orders
- Purchases and Payments
- Purchase Orders
- Cash and Banks
- Management
Within each of these sections, are a variety of reports that allow you to dive deeper into the inner workings of your business in order to understand the trends your business is facing and as a result, the nature and condition of the market your business is operating in.
